About Listening Copy
Listening Copy is a service operated by Berg Capital ehf. for musicians, producers, labels
and studios who need to share unreleased music privately and keep control of who hears it.
When you send a track or a playlist through Listening Copy, each recipient receives their own
private link. You can protect a link with a password, set it to expire, revoke it at any time,
or make it a one-time link that stops working after the first play.
For traceable delivery, Listening Copy can embed an inaudible watermark unique to each
recipient, so if a file leaks you can identify which copy it came from. Recipients listen in
the browser with a clean player, or download the file when you allow it. Lossless sends keep
the original WAV or FLAC alongside a streaming version, so the listener can choose full
quality or a lighter stream on a weak connection.
Listening Copy is built for private, pre-release sharing rather than public distribution. The
service, including this website at listeningcopy.com, its billing and its customer support, is
provided and operated by Berg Capital ehf., a company registered in Iceland. You can reach us
